Overview: nTelos or Frawg? We're not sure about the brand name confusion. Frawg is the prepaid division or company arm covering pay as you go nTelos. The fact is most people know the nTelos name but most people have never heard of Frawg Unlimited Wireless before. Same company. Frawg Unlimited Wireless is the nTelos prepaid service. From this point, we will refer to Frawg instead of nTelos. Just understand that when you're on the Frawg Unlimited Wireless website you may bounce to the nTelos website for example when you go to buy a smartphone. That can be confusing unless you know they are essentially the same company.

With that out of the way, we can say that Frawg has an amazing number of prepaid smartphones. You just don't see some of these phones in other pay as you go companies. They have a Windows Phone 7, Xperia Play gaming smartphone, budget smartphones and some top end models too.

Their main selling points, aside from the great selection of phones, is that they are no contract, no credit check and no activation fee.

Frawg Prepaid Data Plans: Here is what we like. Frawg prepaid data is pretty straight forward. Unlike some prepaid companies who complicate data, Frawg doesn't. This price is current as of mid 2012, but it's still best to check their official website for the most accurate and current pricing. With that said, $55 is quite good considering what you get is unlimited. We're not sure about data throttling as it seems most unlimited data with other providers really isn't unlimited. We will update with more details, but call them to confirm what really is unlimited data.
